November 23, 2007 - Tigers lose a heart-breaker to Arkansas in triple over-time.
Prediction: Les Miles will be gone to his alma mater, the University of Michigan next season.
Prediction: LSU will recruit Steve Spurrier or Tommy Tuberville.
Steve Spurrier as LSU head coach
November 22, 2007 - LSU's Les Miles may get an offer from his alma mater, the University of Michigan, but he would be foolish to leave the great talent of the Louisiana State University Football Team. The LSU Tigers have a bright future as they are so deep and strong in all positions on the football field. LSU currently has an outstanding sophomore class in running backs #5 Keiland Williams, #32 Charles Scott and #8 Trindon Holliday, along with quarterback #11 Ryan Perrilloux (if he can stay out of jail). LSU Football Coach, Les Miles, will need to get very lucky or have great talent on the football field to do well if he decides to coach for Michigan.
November 3, 2007 - LSU's Les Miles isn't a great coach. He is an OK coach, but not an elite coach. LSU Coach Les Miles is very lucky to have so much great talent on the Louisiana State University Football Team. The LSU Tigers are so deep and strong in all positions on the football field. LSU has two good quarterbacks in #15 Matt Flynn and #11 Ryan Perrilloux; either of which could lead LSU to victory. LSU has many great running backs in #18 Jacob Hester, #5 Keiland Williams, #32 Charles Scott and #8 Trindon Holliday; all of them can get the job done on the ground. Even when the defense loses their star #72 Glenn Dorsey, they keep clicking. LSU Football Coach, Les Miles, is a very lucky coach.
September 14, 2007 - When asked about the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, Les Miles said, "If you look at some of the scores in college football it tells you that you'd better be ready to play," he said. "And you understand that no matter what conference they're in or what they're record is, if they've got talent they can reach up and play extremely well against you and it doesn't reflect your tradition or the conference you're in - only how you've prepared."
When asked about the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders defensive game-plan, Les Miles said, "I think Brandon LaFell made his point and is looking forward to remaking it on a regular basis. "I also think if you watch Terrance Toliver and Chris Mitchell and some of our receivers and you see how they're coming, you'd better pick your double coverage wisely."
When asked about the LSU's preparation for the game against the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, Les Miles said, "One thing about football, it's not, I don't know, I can't think of a parallel really, but if you do not prepare you can be worn out. We give great respect to our opponents, and this one has certainly earned our respect. We're preparing for their best effort."
