Bobby Petrino is Bad Sport in Arkansas Razerback loss; Petrino disrespectful to Les Miles after game
November 25, 2011 - BATON ROUGE, Louisiana. The #3 Arkansas Razorbacks come to town to play the #1 LSU Tigers at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The LSU Tigers defeat the Arkansas Razorbacks by a score of 41-17. The LSU Tiger offense punished third-ranked Arkansas with 286 yards rushing, as Kenny Hilliard, Spencer Ware & Jordan Jefferson all scored rushing for the LSU Tigers. The top-ranked Louisiana State University Tigers secured entry into the SEC championship game against #13 Georgia Bulldogs next weekend in Atlanta with the victory.
There was no scoring in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Arkansas took a surprising 14-0 lead on Tyler Wilson’s TD pass to Jarius Wright and Alonzo Highsmith’s 47-yard fumble return, but the LSU Tigers came roaring back with the help of the "Honey Badger" (CB Tyrann Mathieu, #7, New Orleans, Louisiana), Tyrann Mathieu's 92 yard punt return for a score. At the end of the first half, the LSU Tigers lead the Arkansas Razorbacks by a score of 21-14.
The third quarter was slow with both the Arkansas Razorbacks & the LSU Tigers mading field-goals for 3 points each. In the fourth quarter the LSU Tigers got rolling again for two touchdown scores and a field-goal. Bobby Petrino's Arkansas Razerbacks were out-played by Les Miles' LSU Tigers. Bobby Petrino displayed bad sportmanship during the game, and after the game, Petrino disrespected Les Miles at mid-field. Looked like Bobby Petrino's Arkansas Razerbacks were simply out-classed by Les Miles' LSU Tigers all-day.
After the game, when asked about "style points, Les "the hat" Miles said: "We were just tryin to figure out WHEN to take a knee." Les Miles = Yoda
Next for the LSU Tigers: The top-ranked Louisiana State University Tigers are off to the SEC championship game against #13 Georgia Bulldogs next weekend in Atlanta.

Redneck: I don't know, but the BCS voters don't want to see 2 SEC teams playing. The SEC has won the BCS the past 5 years. The voters include coaches from all over the US. Their school don't get $$ when the SEC plays / wins the BCS. I would LOVE to play Bama in N.O. They are the best 2 teams in the country - by far. It could be Ok State.
